“Whispers of the Woods” is my latest instrumental piece, born from my experiences driving the backroads of my home in the Florida Panhandle. I wanted to capture these forgotten paths’ eerie beauty and hidden stories in a Southern Gothic style.
As I composed this track, I drew inspiration from the misty mornings, the way sunlight filters through the Spanish moss, and the sense of history that seems to seep from the soil. The ethereal tones and haunting melodies reflect the mysterious atmosphere I’ve always felt in these woods.
This piece is more than just music to me—it’s a soundscape of my home, a tribute to the secrets and spirits of the South. I hope that as you listen, you’ll be transported to these winding roads and feel the weight of untold stories in the air around you.
I created this as a soundtrack to a video I shot while driving these very roads, aiming to share a piece of my world with listeners. Every note whispers the essence of my Southern experience.
